My husband and I just had to do the hardest thing any pet parent has to. Our Butter developed a very aggressive strain of leukemia and it only took 5 days to go from trying to find out what was wrong, to it being too late to do anything for him. Dr. Yurkon was absolutely wonderful to us. He answered all our questions honestly even though it was hard to hear. He was gentle and caring with our handsome boy and we can never thank him enough. He let us stay with Butter and hold him until it was over. We were allowed to take our time telling him good bye. It was so hard to do but I was comfortable with the decision because of Dr. Yurkon. I have always trusted Baker Pet Hospital with my babies, Dr. Yurkon is just another great reason to take them there.
We just had a very scary experience with our dog, Frisco, aka the Big. He was totally fine one day and wouldn't eat the next. By the time we realized we had a problem it was after hours so we took him to emergency care. The next day we took him to Baker's and Dr. Yurkon. He is a special young man. I think he was just as concerned for the big boy as we were. They kept him for 2 days and my wife and I were on edge. As usual timing was bad as we had relatives visiting from NY. I can't tell you how caring Dr. Yurkon was. My wife and I are so grateful we have him as our vet. Frisco is back to normal and we can't thank Dr. Yurkon enough. We will forever be grateful.
